Yes. It's pretty amazing. It is the PP program that I use the most.
Macphun has oodles of free tutorials on their website.
p.s.
I use it as an extension in Photos for OS X, but it can also be used as a stand alone.
Have been playing around with for a few days. Very slick
I use both Affinity and Luminar and trying to determine which is better for me, both for ease of use and quality of PP. I have a Canon EOS 80D and shoot mostly kid sports and landscapes. Is anyone else using both softwares and is so, how do you think they compare?
i have purchased Luminar and the videos that come with it and like it

I also have Affinity, I don't use it near as much as Luminar.
I use Luminar in Lightroom. Works well, no glitches so far...

I have it installed on my Mac Pro. Zero problems. I like it.
Might have some experience if I just install it! :-) I bought it and have not tried it yet.
I purchased the whole package (software & video). I used it for awhile and liked the main format so I used it independently of PhotoShop and Lightroom. When doing a complicated mask, I found that the file size would to about 10 times the original RAW or Jpeg. It would then lock up or freeze. I could not save anymore. There was no save as only export which did not work. I lost all of my changes and had to go back and start all over again. I contacted McPhun and they were back with me in a couple of hours. We exchanged emails probably 8 times. They wanted my console files and original images. I must have spent over 15 hours on one image until I finally gave up. Excellent customer service but the problems still exist. I am now going to try it as an extension in Photoshop.
Is this a plug-in, a stand alone product, or both?
Thanks,
Ben
Yes, it is both. It can be used as a stand alone product or a plug-in with Photos.
I enjoy using Luminar and interested whether you have integrated it in your PP workflow.
Right now mine is 1) vet/delete photos in Lr, 2) Straighten, 3) Star Rate, 4) individually (terrible) edit photos rated 3 or higher via presets for quick pop and 5) final edit in Lr.
I hear MacPhun adding photo management in future which be be valuable
To All: can you post where in your PP workflow do you use Luminar? Thanks
