Thanks, Joe... these were shot at 600mm, 1/1000, f/6.3, ISO 1600. About all that was done with these was a little noise reduction, tweaking contrast, and resizing/sharpening for the web...

Thanks... yes, this is a short-eared owl. They hunt in daytime as well as at night...
