This guy was hanging out in the yard the other day...eying up the crowd around our birdfeeder.

Shot in RAW with Nikon 200-500 on D5300. Processed in Lightroom for general RAW and then in Photoshop using Topaz Remask and patch tool to brighten up behind his head.

Good job! I saw your previous post and wondered how you'd be able to eliminate the dark clump behind the head.

You did a very nice job and it deserves one small correction. Make that white piece on the outline above his left eye, (the piece that you tried to block by making it white) darken it and make it part of his head ... An easy correction which will improve the shot.

Thanks. Good eye!

I need practice with Remask 5. Might also try patching smaller chunks. And I want to try blurring the background and some other things to bring the bird out more.
