I love owl shots and these are spectacular!
Great set! Where in the Everett area do you find owls? I live in Bothell and would love to spot a few.
Great captures,especially #1.
Outstanding captures. I love owls and never tire seeing them. I've never seen one in the wild. One day. . . Thanks for allowing me the option to see these.
Wonderful shots! I have never seen an owl in the wild, I'm looking forward to my first sighting.

Such a beautiful bird, thanks. Your work is always a pleasure to view!

They're all great captures with excellent details of the owl but that first one really stands out. Might be because of the great timing in capturing its eyes wide open focusing on possibly you. Awesome.
Beautiful images, Rocky! He's really checking you out in the first one!
Thanks, everyone, for the wonderful comments!

These shots were taken at Eide Road, near Stanwood. It's just on the west side of the bridge over the channel between Stanwood and Camano Island. There's a large, flat, marshy area called Leque Isle, managed by the DFW. This time of year, there are short-eared owls and northern harriers, red-tailed and rough-legged hawks, and smaller birds like finches, warblers, meadowlarks, and the occasional shrike or kestrel.
Thanks, I'll check it out!
Beautiful pictures.... owls are so beautiful
