You are describing a valid difference between the D7000 and either the D7100 or the D7200. In terms of dynamic range, high ISO and low light the D7100 and D7200 are virtually the same. The D7200 has a larger memory buffer.
You are incorrect. The 7200 has better dynamic range than the 7100. Not only have I personally observed that fact but it is mentioned in numerous professional reviews as well.
Well, I recently upgraded from a 5200 to a 7200 and the difference is night and day. if your used to the 3200, the 7100 would be a great upgrade. If you can go the extra few feet, go for the 7200. they will be releasing a 7300 before you know it and then you will wish you had gone a little farther. That's how i would feel about it anyways. I could have bought the 7100 and save a few bucks but I'm glad I stepped up to the 72. BTW Cameta camera had the refurbished 7200 bodies for 769.00 when I bought mine and they include a one-year warranty. That's the same as new!! Can't beat that with a stick! Good luck with whatever you go with and enjoy!
Yea, that is what I've seen in my research and the data sheet seems to confirm that.I am pretty sure I'll go with the 7200 over the 7100. I have about a$1000 to spend on a body. I don't need any more lenses right so I'm good. Thanks for the info.
Check DXOmark and DPreview and any number of other reviews. You are simply wrong. But that is typical of the misinformation you gratuitously spread in this forum.

They all give exactly the same information that Bill Claff's graphs do. Stop making things up and attributing it to others. Show us real facts and figures, not just your summary. So far all we get from you is pure BS.

You are obviously mentally challenged or perhaps just an idiot. Read the reviews.
" I KNOW YOU ARE BUT WHAT AM I" "I KNOW YOU ARE BUT WHAT AM I" Cut it out! You both sound like kids on the playground!

And you sound like a crotchety old school master-an ugly one at that.
Yup that the little kid mentality I expected in return. I'm sure I'm not the only one laughing at your behavior. Stop wasting people's time with your sorry remarks and demeanor.
Really guys, let's not get into a pissy fight over advice! I just wanted to know about experiences with both cameras. I can see all the different reviews and take each one with a grain of salt and go with who I think is the the best. So far I am trusting Tom Hogan the most and try and stay away from Rockwell even though I have read all his stuff and and think he is sincere. His reviews to me sound to generalized. But thanks for your info.
