This is a beautiful cardinal, and your photo certainly captures her beauty.
You've created a photo that is well exposed, focused and composed. You are getting all that your bridge camera has to give.
Be proud and keep posting.
Very well done Donald ! .........- I love it ....

"Chin up" Donald and keep posting.
Nice shot. It's not the camera; it's the brain behind it. Keep them coming.
Donald, I just love seeing your birds...and cat and dog, too! I'm sooo glad you're a part of this family! Ya know, I only have a Nikon bridge camera that someone gave to me, and a little pocket camera that's literally taped and Scotch taped together! I don't expect to ever be able to get a better camera, so I'll make do with what I have. We're poor too!
Great shot! Thanks for sharing.
You're doing fine! We all can improve in our technique and maximize the images we make. Some have the wherewithal to deal with that issue by throwing money at it. I have a lot more respect for those who have limited resources and produce enjoyable image to view, as you have done. You are doing well on the track. Keep it up. "Practice makes perfect:!Often composition rules the day over image quality.

This looks like a very good shot to me with very nice detail. Can't complain at all....Rich
All Nikons are good cameras, and I'm not showing brand loyalty, it's just true.
Oher cameras are good too, bridge cameras very versatile, camera phones improving
rapidly. But always remember, "It's the photographer, not the camera", so you have no
need to be apologetic for whatever you use!

Your photo is not poor at all, it has a lot of fine details.
Looks darn good to me Donald.
Don
I almost feel like I'm piling on, I always like your shots.
Keep up the good work!

Don't be silly. You're obviously a capable photographer, and now you've got everyone feeling sorry for you which I'm sure is not what you intended; that WILL make you feel poor. You've got a camera, a computer, enough brains to know how to use both, plenty of willing subjects, and others who matter to you (the "we" in your post.) I don't have enough for a new camera, car, house, or life either--but like you, I get good photos and plenty of people like them, and that's being part of something. So no whining.
Hey Donald, what's wrong with this, Its a lovely shot, its not the equipment, its the eye that makes a good picture my friend, and you have an eye for wildlife
