I'm in the process of slowly photographing such signs on the highways and byways of our great country; not sure what I'm going to do with the pictures though; I know some will be useful in my family genealogy work. And such are of course available on the internet in various places etc; Oh, for the chase of trying to capture history in a unique and enjoyable way. I've attached an example from a recent trip to Pigeon Forge during Thanksgiving (a week before the fires engulfed Gatlinburg).
I've thought of UHH and Facebook as examples; any ideas?

Great pictures. The one from the top makes it worth while to go see. A nice to know information about the civil war. Will have to add this to my bucket list. Mahalo for sharing.
