No. Perhaps overheating? How much memory do you have? Did you have this problem before you updated to Sierra?

If the answers to these questions are "no," then contact Apple support.

the system is not over heating I have it at a repair place, the error message shows it has something to do with light room
It only shuts dwon when im in lightroom cc. they have replaced the harddrive to a 1tb and still has same issue and yes it did
this before the new hard drive was put in but only while in lrcc is when is shuts down
Maybe try posting on Adobe forum for LR and try chat system with Adobe.

Thank you for your input :) have a blessed day

I saw on a different forum that a user was having crashing problems with LR CC because he didn't have his Creative Cloud app running. Thus LR couldn't check with Adobe to be sure it was a legitimate copy.
computer company did a re install and I will play with it tonight to see if any changes
Yep, I had the same problem. I waited with Sierra until I heard no problems, but then still had them. The issue is not with my computer. A fairly new mac Pro (the black tin can) two stacks of thunderbolt hard drives (12 TB & 8 TB) 64 gig of RAM. I did reinstall LR CC and lately no crashes
Enough to piss off the good humor man.

so far so good tonight, I actually worked in lr for 30 mins and it did shut off fingers crossed!!
