2.18 TB (2,398,619,987,968 bytes) and 81,776 Files, 1,469 Folders for me. I use a somewhat different strategy. The photos are synced to 2 other drives. The first one I allow to finish the sync before I start culling them. The second is synced after I cull them. The first one is then synced to a network drive that is two mirrored three TB drives and is in a totally different building. That one takes forever because I'm doing it wireless. I wish I could think of a good way to lay Cat5.

I have 2.11 TB and 162,968 files, 102 folders. Of those folders, 74 are Legacy (pre-Lightroom) the remaining 28 are in current use and then only to keep cameras separate -- to prevent file-naming conflicts. I use "Keywords" to isolate (quickly find) images rather than the confusing "folder" filing method.

I use keywords extensively and religiously, but the folders are by date. I like that too.
