Thank you! you mean the horse shoe---it just hangs on that post ring and I hang a bucket on the other side of the shoe when have just washed one out
That is a great idea tho--to use as a latch

YES, horses smell soooo good. So does leather! I can imagine many different uses for that horse shoe and I see absolutely nothing wrong with that old saddle. Most new western ones are not nearly as comfy as the old ones, but I ride English most of the time....so comfortable. I have 5 saddles and for some reason, I can ride only one at a time. It's nice that whatever saddle you use, the smell of the horse never changes! :lol:

Very nice photos. My mom used to own a horse when she was young and I have always love seeing horses.

I used to own horses and I really miss them. Thought I was wierd for liking the smell of horses, so I never told anyone that! Nothing like the smell of a horse barn...the horses and sawdust ahhh!
