I am wanting to upgrade from a small point-and-shoot, and this might be just what I'm looking for. If I wanted to add an autofocus telephoto lens, what would I need to know about lens mount, etc? (I'm a rookie, obviously). There are probably other questions I should ask, but ??

Nikon f mount.Any of newer lens since digital cameras have been out. Go to Ken Rockwell web site and he explains it better than me. What size telephoto lens are you looking to use?
