I've used Fedex Office in previous years for wall calendars. Easy to use on-line. No problems.

Used Costco for calendar. 8.5 x 11 stock with pictures close to 8 x 10 size. Cost about $10 each. Spiral bound. Order took about 10 days. Came individually wrapped in clear plastic. Very nice quality product.
Toughest part of the job is picking those 12 pictures. You need to select one picture for outside cover.

As you can see from the replies to date, there are many choices. Some retailers, including Costco offer on site calendar services where you can bring your photos on a memory card and make the calendars on site. Other retailers offer the same option, but Costco generally does a good job with its photo services.

Well I'm wanting to make some calendars out of some of my photos for Christmas gifts. I have never done this before. I'm a little frustrated right now, I tried using Bay Photo but I'm having a hell of a time using their roes. I can't seem to get the photos to drag and drop to make the calendars.
I'm open for suggestions if any of you have used Bay Photo for calendars, other wise I'm interested in what programs or software anyone else uses for making calendars.
Thanks for any help you can give me.

Check out Groupon for huge discounts -- there are numerous Groupons available for Staples and various photo printers for as little as $3 per calendar if you buy in multiples of 3-5 or more and if you need more than that, you can buy multiple Groupons. I have used the ones for Staples the past 2 years to get 20-30 wall calendars to send to friends and relatives in place of Christmas cards and have been very satisfied. Since the Staples software is rather limited as for customization, this year I may check out some other photo printers that are even less expensive and probably have more custom options.

I've used Snapfish for several years to make calendars for gifts. Easy to use software, good quality printing, heavy stock, spiral binding, and it isn't too hard to find them listed for 50-60% off which still makes them around $10.00 each.

As I just posted, you can do a lot better price-wise with a Groupon.

Might look at COSTCO. $11 per calendar last I checked, if you have a lot to do.

I found that you need to have all the pictures you want displayed ready to go, sized and cropped and portrait or landscape. Some calendars if you are only putting one picture per page it will be probably be landscape.
I have made calendars through the drug store Walgreens if you have one in your area. Very easy to do online, also Walmart and Sams club make them too.
You can get templates to make your self, I have done that too, but it is probably more expensive as you will be buying a lot of ink and double sided quality paper. You will need a binder machine also.
I would check out Walgreens, look on line.

I do a calendar each year for my local SPCA that we sell as a fundraiser and use PrintingCenterUSA as a printer. They do a really nice job and are easy to work with. Don't know how many calendars you are considering doing; their minimum order is 10. For that number, it would cost you $10.68 per calendar, plus shipping, for saddle stitch binding; $12.35 plus shipping for Wire-O binding; or $12.87 for spiral binding. I do my own layout in InDesign, but they also have a free online design program that you can use. The prices above are for a 28-page (i.e., 12 month) calendar, full color both inside and on the cover, 80# gloss cover paper, 100# gloss text inside, UV high gloss finish on the cover (you can opt for no high gloss finish and save about 10รƒย‚ร‚ยข per calendar), a 1/8" drill hole, and an electronic PDF proof. Address if you want to check them out is http://www.printingcenterusa.com/printing/calendar-printing. Have used them for 4 years now and have always been satisfied.

You're welcome. Greetings from Sacramento where it's been rainy lately. It was about 57 degrees here today and mostly cloudy.
