I took these from the Picnic Point lookout in Toowoomba on my last trip there to visit family, looking east towards Brisbane (I'm sure most Aussie viewers would know where it is). Toowoomba is at the top of the Great Dividing Range, after a fairly 'hairy' climb for the last 8 miles. West of Towoomba is a huge flat, fertile plateau known as the Darling Downs. Downloading is recommended.
