I've placed a lot of orders with Amazon lately, and few items have gotten two-day delivery. I know the weekends slow things down, but I've been given delivery dates at least a week away, and that's for Prime. I wonder why.

Your order might not be coming from Amazon, but from another dealer.

I have noticed that also. If that is the case, you need to contact Amazon to see what they will do for you. I have had my Prime extended several times for this reason, and once got a $5 coupon. Keep after them to keep them honest.

Good idea.

EDIT: I just sent Amazon an email about four orders with delivery times ranging from 5 to 11 days, all the Prime items.

Jerry,
You might try "Chatting" with a customer rep. I have always received a satisfactory resolution to an issue.

Mystery solved. Although all four items are listed as eligible for Prime shipping, I had taken advantage of the Honey app to get lower prices on three items from other sellers, and they did not use two-day shipping. The fourth item was eligible for Prime, but I guess the seller just couldn't get it out fast enough.

I was surprised that Amazon gave me an answer so quickly.

Good for you and I appreciate the explanation. I have found Amazon's CS to be superb.

What's funny is when you choose to communicate by phone, and your phone rings with someone from Amazon on the line.

A pkg is coming tomorrow via FedEx - signature required. I hate that. One or two are coming on Wednesday, and some more the following week.

You buy too much!!! LOL

You can always change that by subscribing to Fedex and UPS. The delivery location and required signature can be changed. At least I have been able to do that when needed. Also by speaking with the merchant about delivery options.

That would be disappointed because I finally relented and signed on to prime. Perhaps it has to do with the holidays coming up.
