Is there anyway to get some of the wood? A woodsmith would drool over being able to work with that!
Love the trees! Never get tired or bored with tree photos.
Here are a few of my favorite pics.
Midnight Monkeypod: taken by the light of a streetlight in the valley park near our home.
Cannonball Tree: Found on the campus of the University of Hawaii in Manoa, Oahu.
Kapu Tree: This rather spooky tree was found on the edge of the Pohakuloa Army Training Grounds on the Saddle Road between the huge volcanos on the Big Island of Hawaii. Kapu is the Hawaiian way to say; "No go dea brudda!" or, Keep Out!

Sorry about that folks! Mixed up my posts of the trees.
Here is the Cannon Ball Tree. These giant pods are al least 8 to 10 inches in size. From Africa, I believe.
Also two more tree pics.
Eucalyptus Palette: Found on the campus of the University of Hawaii. The bark is a rainbow of colors.
Rainbow Red: In Hawaii we have many flowering trees that have been imported from all over the world. The hybrid Rainbow Shower tree is usually a color range from yellow through orange to red. But this year, especially in Manoa valley the blossoms were mostly bright red.

A swamp tree! I love it. The moss is great.

Have you gotten the time to go through all of this thread yet? If not, try to, some really great shots.
