This was taken from my backyard on Tuesday evening (11/15). We have a lot of smoke in the air from the wildfires all around us. There were low lying clouds and smoke which diffused this scene.

Very appealing colors and just the sliver of sun. Always sad to hear of wildfires; Washington State had a horrific summer of 2015.

We are getting a lot of smoke here also, about a three hour drive from the closest fire..... I don't know how close you are to the fire but, stay save

Spoke with my son last night in Charlotte and he said it wasn't as bad as the day before. I believe your smoke is coming out of Burke County. The closest to us is about nine miles away.

Oh absolutely .....Wednesday was the worst, Thursday morning it was still around, but was clearing, today I haven't noticed any...I'm just east of Charlotte
