That means one day prior to the official full "supermoon." First a thank you to bobmcculloch for reminding me that this nice place - Perkins Cove/Marginal Way - is close to home for me. I've found that one night before a full moon is a good photo op. The moon rises before sunset so there's a period of light that makes exposure easier. As beautiful as this place is, mobility was limited and I couldn't use as long a lens as I would like and still have some foreground. A learning experience and here's some results.

Thanks, guys. I went to York Beach tonight to get some more shots with the lighthouse. It was a total bust. Took forever to find a parking space and when I did it was nowhere near where I wanted to be and by the time I got tripod, etc. set up it was too late. That's life.
Very nice series and number 3 is awesome. I also enjoyed number 4 a lot.
