Dr.Nikon Loc: Honolulu Hawaii

Our son was air lifted fro Oahu Hawaii due to a heart attack and complications .. to San Diego Sharp Hospital .., we followed a few days later .. Got into a Sheraton next to the hospital .. we have been heren12ndays now .. his operation LVALC System installed now .., Our son is doing fine now ..any way ..., I had brought my camera gear as I never travel without it .., anyway .. found out about the super moon .. so I borrowed a $50 tripod .. took my D810 and my 200-500 5.6 up on the hospital 6th Fl parking garage .. saw a haze ring around the moon and a lot of parking lot lights .. , but what the heck .., 9pm shaky tripod set up .. away I went ..all in all given the conditions and the fact that I had to process on my IPAD PRO .., having shot in RAW .., But only allowed to use jpeg processing .. here is what I got ..
I might add .., I did a lot of bracketing .. f16 100 ..., f20 80 .. f11 140 ... etc ..when I get back to my RAW data .., reprocess the shots .. I will attach the setting to each shot .. for you ..

We ly back to,Hawaii on Wed the 16th ... leaving our Son here at the hospital with his wife watching him ... I will process my RAW data on my MacBook Pro and repost the shots of the Super Moon ...

Whoops .., my date and time stamp as some of you noticed ... were out of whack ... my camera settings as of this am .. wow .., talk about being off a few years ...I oppologize ...it is not as bad as leaving a sponge in and sewing up the patient .., but almost as bad in terms of professional photography ...

I'm adding another shot .., still JPEG ...haven't got to the RAW editing yet ...not bad for a full moon shot .., Super Moon 24% brighter than a normal,moon ...so hard to get great crater detail ..

As Regis says .. best is a 1/4 - 1/2 for crater detail ... I have yet to do that ..., but for the super bright 24% brighter than a reg moon .., and be that it was a full moon .. and for not using a telescope .., it's not bad ..
