This pic that I shot last year wasn't intended to be a panoramic. I had just shot a few consecutive shots while on the roof of the Hilton in Guidecca which is across the canal from Venice. And I was able to stitch them together and I had to crop a lot of the pic out since I didn't use a tripod nor did I try to keep the pics level. This Hilton hotel is highly recommended spot to get a panoramic view of Venice. You don't have to be a guest there. Just jump on the water taxi in Venice and then go to the top of the hotel where the pool is located. The second shot was my first attempt at making a panoramic. This shot actually gave me a 3rd place in a local art competition titled "Hometowns". I shot it for another local competition this fall called Steeples.

Very nice. I've never tried "stitching" photos together..I have only used my camera's panorama feature to take the pictures.

My first panorama! Took it last weekend. A restored "atmospheric" theater from the 1928 in Jersey City, NJ. The bridge is a scale model of the Rialto bridge in Venice. It's a re-creation of what it would be like to sit in a gondola going down the canal.

This is an area of our garden that is an ongoing project for my husband. David works here daily. we call it Hosta Hill. The soil here is very poor, mainly clay content and we have added pails of sand to mix with the soil. On the left is a Snowball tree ( bush) that we had bought in memory of my grandmother. As a child I remember Gram had a Snowball tree beside the door step out her front door. Our Snowball tree is doing well this year. there are three photos in this panorama

Very pretty Ann. Your hubby has a green thumb. Nice yard, nice pictures.

I have enjoyed seeing everyone's panorama. I haven't tried that yet. Would like to print all of the instructions to keep at hand. Don't think I can do that so will write them out by hand. Good job everyone. This has been most interesting.
