When one understands we are actually a republic and not a democracy, the idea of the electoral college being scrapped highlights ignorance at best, anti-Americanism at worst.

As for the crying over the popular results.........take out Cali and a Trump wins by 2,000,000 votes, also take out NY and Illinois and Trump,wins by 8%. The electoral college was designed to protect our REPUBLIC, and to help assure some equal representation, and to prevent the "tyranny of the masses".

Also, to,address the article, when Obama trounced Romney the results could mathematically by adjusted by changing 147,000 votes across a few counties. In other words, all such "wishes" are useless as Obama won, and Trump won........fair and square.
