Welcome to the forum. If you are thinking of selling you Nikons list what you want to sell on the 'members/buy/sell/trade' section. You won't have any problem.

I'm not changing from Nikon but was thinking of adding an X-T2 to my arsenal. Definitely a great camera and I think the future is mirrorless. Fuji is so well made and trying to give it customers what they want. They are often updating their firmware. You don't have to wait 2or3 years to get it in a new body. Definitely a bonus there.

I switched from Nikon to Fuji. I needed lighter camera. I really like Fuji cameras. Cameras are always being updated.

Just a quick word to the wise. Check out the Nikon D500 before committing to a new system. If you already have, then go for the Fuji.

I'm looking at the x-T2 also but not giving up my Nikons...I'm looking to purchase it more for travel, just more compact and lighter. I had the opportunity to use an X-T1 a few days ago, loved it. The owner was waiting for his x-T2 which I will give it a go before making my decision. Just not sure if I want to start a new series of glass purchases...an X-T2 plus a full range from wide to 200-400mm, your looking at close to $5,000. http://bestmirrorlessblogs.com/buying-guide/best-lenses-for-the-fujifilm-x-pro2/
Definitely worth a look see.

Once you settle in, please share what you gained and lost, e.g. confidence in capturing what you expect, quickness of controls, IQ, sensor cleaning time if you do your own, etc.

You will be disappointed on how slow the Fuji focuses compared to a DSLR; I tried the switch a couple of years ago and sold the Fuji after about 6 months. Can you get good photos? Yeah, but after a DSLR you are spoiled

I just made the switch to the XT-2 so the jury is still slightly out because of my lack of knowledge of how to use the camera as well as I can my Nikon. It so far seems to be incredibly sharp and respectably easy to use at this early stage.I'm still having some focusing issues-could be early user syndrome. I've been doing 100% crops with absolutely wonderful results (when they are wonderful-again see above). The video is great-clear, easy to use with good results. And best of all I have no qualms about carrying it with me at all times without the "schlep" factor coming into play-after all a camera is only good if it is with you and fun to use. If you want some samples, would be glad to send some. Send me a private IM.

I was at a photo event in Bethlehem PA this weekend and did some test shooting with the yet-to-be released Olympus OMD M1 ii. And it blew me away. I was stunned by everything about this camera. Even how good micro 4/3 images are on that tiny chip.

Now I'm currently a Nikon and Fuji shooter and I love them, but I have to run 3 camera to get all the features I need. (light weight, low light sensitive, good vibration reduction, wide through long, video capable, blah blah...)

I have to do more research, but I am currently mulling dropping everything and going to this system after 1. It's released, and 2.) the first bugs are worked out.) Have a look at the specs and get your hands on one when when it comes out. You might be surprised. I sure was.

I also need to blow up some prints from 4/3. I'm still not sure if I trust the format.
