This kind of effect works well when there are recognisable elements in the shot. I think you got a good mixture of surreal and recognisable.

Again I usually don't like this kind of photography or painting for that matter, but I think this is well done. The red/pink coat or backpack gives it a point of interest. You can tell what this is a photo of but the blur makes it about the colors.

I've found vertical movement with trees and people gives the best result and your image confirms this. Just about a perfect example and a very pleasing picture - love the light through the trees, the colours and the composition.

Thanks Mama, the red/pink is a woman's coat which to be honest I didn't notice that as I took the photo so I used that as a focal point in my post processing.

I've commented pictures using this technique before, where I did not liked them, and suggested that in a different settings it would work good.
This is a good example where it works very good for me :)

Symmetrical, Easy to recognize the scene and beautiful panned and that pink jacket adds attention to the scene.

Just wanted to add, it has the flavour of 'French Impressionist' about it. If it were mine it would be hanging on the wall.

I like this image for reasons that go beyond excellent use of the camera motion technique.
It has good depth recession/perspective with size recession of the tree trunks as well as good background color temperature recession from warm to cool.
Maximal compositional advantage was taken of cosmically provided perspective.
Local complementary color contrast is effective.

A well-conceived and executed surrealistic image.

impact: 4
tech: 5
comp: 5

Excellent job!
