some more help needed with PS6

Ive attached a pic, what I did was go to filters, lens correction, custom and changed the horizontal slider.
How do I get a clear background? I would like to get rid of the white, so you see the pic not as a square but as shown.
Thanks.

Are you talking about replacing the blank area in the posted shot with trees etc? You could try doing that with Content Aware Fill, but it looks like a big ask. If you can't get that to work, another alternative might be to select just the bits you want Transformed (i.e. distorted) and superimpose them on a non-distorted background.

I assume the file you edited had transparent pixels. A file must be saved in a format that can store transparency (png, tif, but not jpg). Even then UHH thumbs are represented as jpg images, and are likely to display as shown above. The only way I know to display what you want here as a thumb is to make the white (transparent) area of your image match the UHH background (approx RGB 236,235,201) as shown below.

Is the background clear in the original?

If what you're after is what Rick is suggesting you'll be limited by the format of the media that you'll be using. Rick's answer is good provided you know the colour of the background that the pic's being sent to. Making a print and then cutting away the white wouldn't be difficult, but doing that electronically probably isn't going to be possible because of the rectangular format of file-sourced images.

If you want the top left corner to be sharp like the bottom left corner you'll have to reduce the image size using the Scale slider so that all of the transformed image will fit within the canvas area. That shouldn't result in a loss of resolution because it will only affect what you see on the screen within the editor.

I thought for sure that I was able to do it a few years ago while making some round crops from rectangle photos, and you would think it would be an easy thing to do. If you can trim away transparent pixels in a regular photo, or selected color pixels, then why not transparent pixels? Tis a puzzler to me.
