A few shots taken whilst in New York last weekend. Great time with only disappointment that both B+H and Adorama were both closed due to holidays. Highlight was the Top of the Rock, which I would recommend to all, queues way shorter than Empire State Building and whole experience far better!
Sorry we missed you. Hope to see you on your next visit to NYC!

That's a long way to travel, only to find the stores closed. At least you got to take some great pictures.
When you come next time, contact Herschel at B&H, and he'll arrange a tour.
It was a shame we couldn't get to visit B+H, but probably saved me some money as intended to look at a few prime lenses.. never mind with current state of UK £ the price difference between UK and US isn't that great at moment. The weather was good anyway lol.

Very nice. I live near NYC and have some friends visiting from England, so we went to the Freedom Tower yesterday. The views are fantastic, but you have to shoot through glass, and have to deal with glare, fingerprints, and dirt on the windows. Still worth the experience. I agree the Top of the Rock is a wonderful experience. You will also get great shots on the Circle Line cruise around Manhattan.
Great set, a nice sampling of the City. Intersection one my fav.
Really like photo #3 of the Manhattan skyline.

In the last photo, you captured one of the city's major industries ... the taxi business.
Very, very good images, rjallen!
