The tree in the photo caught my eye due to size and beauty. In the later afternoon, the tree was beautifully lit by the light of the setting sun.
The grounds around the old hotel on the campus of the Naval Postgraduate School, the historic Del Monte Hotel (1926), are filled with exotic flora from around the world.
While visiting Monterrey, we stayed a couple of nights in the Del Monte. A couple of photos are attached.
