Milky Way Davis Mountains State Park, Ft. Davis, TX
The shot is superb...but I think the lighted rocks are too bright. That should be easy to fix.

I think I did store it originally. Can't remember for sure.
I can download, but I cannot enlarge, which is typical for standard uploads, whereas
(store original) allows enlargement.
Nikon D3s, 20mm f/1.8. 25" exposure, f/2.8, 1250 ISO. The rocks are light painted with a flashlight using two 1/2 CTO orange gels. Took me several tries to get the light painting to look good enough.
Stunning and inspiring. Was the photo recent (I'm wondering about Mars & Saturn in their recent positions; are they behind the rocks to the right and too near the horizon to show up. With so many stars it's a little hard to make out the constellations (Scorpius, Sagittarius).
20mm lens, f/2.8, 25 seconds at ISO 1250. Light painted the walls and trail with a flashlight double gelled with 1/2 CTO.
