TheStarvingArtist, I really like your concept here. I know The art here is in the eye of the beholder, I would like to see a more feathered edge between the back ground and the subject. then again maybe you have already tried this. Good job!

Yes, this is art, it is VERY creative, and I could hang this on my living room wall much sooner than I could the original nude shot or most of the other great images being posted in this section. This is NOT simply a photograph of a beautiful naked woman.

But for me, I find the "natural" tones clash with the rest of the image. I wonder how it would look if all, or at least more, of the skin tones and hair were coloured like the flare spots on the arm and breast. I think a totally abstract colouration might be more intriguing. But that is just my opinion... and I am NOT an art critic.
