Welcome Jeff. Photography is great hobby, can be expensive, but doesn't have to be. I started when I was about 12 and now I'm still going strong at 71. You will find lots of folks on here with a wealth of knowledge who are more than willing to share that knowledge with you. You should read all the photography books you can get your hands on, especially "Understanding Exposure" by Bryan Peterson. Take lots of pictures. When I started out you had to wait for the film to be developed, now you get instant images. Good luck. Make sure you submit some of your images!

Welcome to The Hog! You'll have the opportunity to learn a lot just reading the posts and answers here. If you ask a question, I'd advise reading it over a couple of times before you post it since the replies tend to get 'way off track if you aren't clear what you are asking.
