Actually we all laugh about it now
She is a good sport... She regularly joins me on bicycle rides in the forest... I do make sure to point out any of them i see or hear... They do have a distinct sound... She is the first one i send pictures to when I catch one...

A wonderfully strong set Linda. I very much agree regarding the joy of low angle autumn light and you nailed it with the first one! And who can resist flaming epaulets and exploding cattails? The light just gets better and better and the fall migration is underway. A very nice post my friend.
