If you have a PC, why not use the free anti-virus from Microsoft,
http://search.microsoft.com/en-us/results.aspx?form=MSHOME&setlang=en-us&q=security%20essentials

It's the ONLY anti-virus on my machine.

Hello Sarge, After reading a few things about AVG, it said if I were going to install another program and Microsoft does look real good (Thanks), it mentioned not to have 2 programs doing the same thing, do you agree, if so I will delete AVG, and install Microsoft.

Two anti-virus at same time will most probably work but it puts your processor into over-time doing the same job twice.

If you want to load an anti-virus and it says ' two running is not good ' hit control alternate delete and in task manager and processes and end task on the initial anti-virus program. It will start again later.

Or you can go further and hitting the MS bubble in the task bar ( Far left ) and type in ' msconfig ' without the quotes and in the startup tab take the checkmark for the program you don't want to start on the next startup. You can always put it back in later.

Hello Sarge, You are Always a Big help with our computer concerns, so this is what I will do, delete the old and put in the new, Microsoft, AVG has been good and there use to be a Free Program, I guess times have changed some what, we have come to rely on our computers so much, and even more for todays standards, So Thanks A-Lot, The Best to You George Im even looking at buying an LED TV, with Internet Wireless, maybe a Smart TV, that has all the goddies, as I want to surf the Web more, and be able to watch what Id like through Net Flex, although its not so current, and Hulu, with the new Tvs and now OLCD, just for the clairity alone it is well worth looking into, and buying, we can do so much more. Hmmm, maybe a Ruko Box, this stuff for Me is so exciting, Life is Good.

State of the Art is being followed here also. My wife just put on Apple box on our TV to play music, watch movies, rent movieds etc from Netfix etc etc. Was on all the time for a week and now past two weeks never used. It isn't all it's cracked up to be and actually costs a bit of money overall with equipment having to be on a lot more.

Technology ain't cheap but free anti-virus is good.

I have been very happy with avast. It features continuous live protection and also available system scan.
It has been rated well in recent PC World tests.

AVG is a free program, but AVG has added a few hoops to go through before you can download the free version. You can find the freebie by either going to the AVG site at:
avg.com/free or download it directly from Cnet at:

Hello, And Thank You, currently I have AVG, but it will expire soon, according to them, they want Me to start paying for their service, Im finding out there are other sources, like Microsoft, that will allow Me their service, and help keep my computer safe, but I will open the program you sent, Id like to keep AVG, as I have had this ever since I have had my computer which is 10 years, George

Ain't no June Bugs when you don't surf porn or open an attachment from someone you don't know or even if from someone you know, you think twice.

I always put my cursor over the link.....See what it shows cuz my buddy don't send me stuff that comes up with and .exe .bat .com extension.
