Falling down barn with current residents.

It's a great old barn. I bet the residents are quite happy.

Here's my contribution Cotondog.
Today was a beautiful Fall day and Sandra and I came across this, 'way up an old dirt road in the middle of nowhere.

Thanks for this, Pierre. It looks like a great old log house. What a wonderful find. Most of what I find are also in the "middle of nowhere." Seems to be the best place to come across these old places.

I love old barns. In fact, I could live in one and be quite comfortable. I have a hard time driving past any barn without getting a shot, and have taken hundreds of pics of them over the past 10 to 15 years. I am posting 2 of my favorite barns. I know that there are many "barn people" on UHH and, if you are one of them, you are invited to post your favorite barn shot to this thread. I hope to at least see a few.

The first image (originally taken in 2013 with a Canon 50D) has been recently re-worked. I added a de-hazing filter, which gave it a bit more detail but likely a bit of noise to the sky. I also flipped the image horizontially.
The second image was shot in 2015 with a Canon SX-50, and it remains as it was when I first posted it on UHH in Oct. 2015.

It will more than suffice, Dave. It's a great photo of an old crumbling down shed, and your title suits it very well. I really like the contrast of the red and white. Nicely done.

Nothing to be ashamed of at all, Bob (and I'm glad you have no shame). It's a lovely photo. Thank you for the great contribution and the kind comment.

SO many barns, so little time!
I, too, love old barns and houses...oh, the stories they could tell!

Here's one that I often photograph because it's on my way to/from work every day:

(I added some lens flare)

Love all these barns!

From the archives (vacation pics)

#1 is a very expensive barn.
#2 I like the symmetry of this one.

A few barns including a quilted barn done with sketch processing.

I noticed in all the images posted so far that having some dramatic clouds in the background really sets off the plain architecture of most barns.

I really like #1.

Great addition to our barn photos, Wendy. I like the lighting and lens flare on your photo. Nicely done.
