Am a new member here finding my way around.
Just a thought,....many of us are looking for something particular photography related,....a lens, a user manual, accessory or gadget, whatever,... that others in the group might have or be willing to part with.
Could kind of fill the gap of waiting around looking through classified for sale items that might not be exactly be what a photographer wants.
Would also eliminate scrolling through the forum threads looking for something you want.
Just a thought that it might be of interest to others.
Thanks
Martys

Usually in the buy/sell/trade area that you're in people do the following (at least I do)
FS: Canon camera....(for sale)
FT: Canon camera....(for trade)
WTB: Canon camera (wanted to buy)
That's been the normal protocol on forums that I frequent.
Thanks for replying.
Works for me.

Great idea it will seperate the 'for sale' and 'wanted'
Classified section is now so short; hardly need to separate.
And I WTB Tamron Adaptall II 70-150 soft focus.

Would like that but also how about an area for Elements Premiere? Have lots of questions on that app...have about 150 minidv tapes I am trying to copy to HD then edit with Premiere then put on DVD....most all need editing....Thanks
The "search" button on UHH works for the items/topics that you want to look for. UHH users have been pretty good at titling their posts with the main subject.
Elements Premiere ! ! ! ! !
Yes - Yes just installed my copy this morning, and I'm lost - lost.....
I've been using Pinnacle Studio 14 and figured that I would give Elements Premiere a try. If it works out better than Pinnacle I my go for the whole thing Photoshop Premiere, I just may be able to do an upgrade......
WALT
Yes, agreed, search is under utilized and so the same topic is covered over and over.. like wise... Google is under utilized by those who wish others to do their research and reading, then summarize it.
The fact that Classified is a small category is not a valid argument for not having a Wanted category. It appears that melismus favorite word is minimus. As the Sumu wrestlers say "what has size got to do with it." I personally would look at a wanted category and not look at the for sale category because I am fighting the photographers addiction.. aaa another lens to fit my camera.. ...
In a Item Wanter Category ..."hay look there is some one who wants a copy of Photoshop Elements 0, the one without the number, wow I got one!!!",,, I would not ever have listed it "for sale". SO I VOTE FOR A WANTED CATEGORY.

Wanted: 600mm f/4 Nikkor Looking for "free to good home!"
I promise to take very good care of it.
Let's see how that works!
