D Different, No Egg

D in an unusual nude pose that looks implied.
Again, simplicity rules.
Digital converted in LR to approx. a film look.
I'm not a big fan of B&W conversions or mimicking film.
That's what film is for!!!

I like this one better than the egg shots.

You've done well with all your work with D. The art shots work and the glamour shot with the little red jacket is HOT!

Jay, thanks for looking.
Hey, what do you like better about this one than the egg shots? Just curious?!

An excellent example of Artistic Foreshortening.

On another note, your comments are a bit ambiguous; you say this is a "conversion", although you are not a big fan of them. However, that's what you did, Yes?

And, you say, "simplicity rules"; you mean the pose not the conversion, Yes?

Also, you say, "That's what film is for". For what?

Either way, a nice shot.

The lighting to give cross shadows is interesting.

Bill, thanks so much for looking! Glad you're enjoying the little D series.
Gotta post a few more. Yes, that little red jacket is just small enough to not get in the way!!
Thanks for the comments.....

I find the photo to be too obtuse. Would not even call it a nude shot.

SS,

It's a cool shot, did you show it to D?

No, other than on the back of the camera, no, she hasn't seen it.

Tom, now you're confusing me, but probably no more than I'm confusing you!! LoL
Yes and yes! Yes I don't like conversions and that's exactly what I did, I converted plain ole color digi to a B&W. Most of the conversions I see really suck. I just hope mine doesn't suck to badly!
And B&W film is for doing B&W photography. Everything else is just a poor excuse!!!
By simplicity I mean nothing to distract the viewer. No crack, no bush, no boobs etc. hopefully I won't have to defend that it really IS a woman in there!! When you look you see the subject, nothing else!
Tom, thanks for taking the time to read my short rant and giving it a thoughtful consideration and response.
