Saw this 1934 Packard roadster in a parking lot in Quechee, VT.

Beautiful. I'm amazed there wasn't someone watching it.

I agree. The parking lot was large, all gravel, and nearly full. The attraction was an upscale glass factory/store and restaurant. The Packard was in mint condition, spotless, and parked closely on both sides.

Very nice photos of a beautiful car. The higher end cars of that era had such a grace and presence that has not been often created since.

If it were mine, I'm not sure I would take it to that type of location where you are subject to the door dings and scratches of those who don't appreciate its beauty.

I agree. When I first spotted the Packard, I looked around and had the same thought. I noticed a better, open, parking spot at the far end. But, the car is seriously stunning.

Oh! Isn't that a beauty, exuding class, prestige. I owned a few of the boats from the fifties which were nice but didn't have the same cachet.

I wonder if this is the same Packard that was on the news a couple of days ago? It is owned by a lady that is 101 years old and has had it since new. She drives it herself and can do her own work on it, tune-ups, washes it, and keeps it very clean. She said she had neighbors help her clean in once in
a while. She never plans on getting rid of it, and I can see why.

Possibly - And probably if she was in Quechee, VT, last week having lunch at the Simon Pearce glass factory and store.

I know she was from one of the New England states.
