At the end of the rainy season, you notice the concrete has accumulated some color. A day with the pressure washer is needed and takes about 5 hours of work.

It looks nice when you're done. How about using bleach or would that be overkill (so to speak)?

We have that trouble over here Sarge, but we just leave it, as our rainy season lasts from May till May!!

Bleach wash is next week. Never did it before but heard it was a good step.

Rain from May to May ? Sounds like over the pond at the end of the Gulf Stream.

I tried regular bleach last time - it really did not work very well (did not replace the power-washer!). I have used swimming pool chlorine (I think twice the strength of household bleach) in the past with good results.

When I lived in Maine we used to say: "It rained twice last week - once for three days and once for four!".

Hello Sarge, Spray it with a diluted mix of liquid Chlorine (the same you use in your pool) 50/50 if it is really bad. I use this all the time for cleaning decks & driveways. Don't get on you cloths or fabric though.

Looks like you still need some bleach. I have the same problem here in Sarasota.
