I have added a few of our favorites.

I dated, but only if I could fit it in besides the horse shows. So, not as much as other girls. The horses were first!
The red one looks an awful lot like my Saddle Bred, He was out of Denmark and was named 'Denmarks Fastinating Fantisia' and was called Fanta. I had to put him down when he was 11 years old and was run throught a wire fence at the Horse Patrol Compound by some of the other 14 horses that ganged up on him.
Horses can sometime be very aggressive towards other horses I found out the hard way.

Thank you for your sad story. Horses sometimes can be very nasty with each other as you know. My red guy, aka Opie is a reg 2 yr old Morgan that I donated to a young man that has ADD. His older horse will soon be out of commission and his folks said that he lives for the horses and he had really turned his life around. The young man is in FFA and 4-H along with high school equestrians. He never fit in before and now he is one of the best riders in his peer group.
Cole and Opie meet for the first time

Minis are so precious. I was invited to do some photos at a mini farm and they had three youngsters about a month old and they were all over the place. They played like puppies. I love it when you show the difference with the size.

I spend my time now with Special Equestrians and even though I have grown up and around horses, and have a natural love for them, I still cannot get over the miracles I see daily with special needs children especially. I've seen kids that weren't expected to talk/walk/etc. do all that and more. There is a special connection with these kids. It's something they can do on there own, something they can own. It gives them a confidence that I haven't seen anything like it.
Kudos to you for donating Opie (BTW, great name)and enriching this boys life!
Buddy, sorry for your loss...Horses are like many other animals..the strong survive. Too bad they didn't know that back then. It still hurts like one of your kids getting bullied.

These are all too cute! One of our (stable) members has a miniature, he is the funniest, smartest little guy and is one of our Special Equestrian ambassadors!
I would love to have one myself, if I was going to take on that responsibility again! (NOT)
