Good spots for shooting pix?
dunns river falls ,,Nigril sunsets, take a tour of the coffee plantations , beautiful coastlines
They used to have a wonderful rafting trip that started inland. Also had a sightseeing train trip. You might inquire at the hotel about them. If Rose Hall is still there it has some wonderful history about it. Have fun. Take lots of Pics. Share with us when you get back.
go to Rick's Cafe in Negril...you can photograph the cliff divers, and see the most beautiful sunsets........
There are two river rafting trips in Jamaica, on the Martha Brae (sp?) River, which is only about a hour long and also on the Rio Grande. The Rio Grande raft trip is three hours or so and the one you want to do. The Blue Mountains are beautiful and they grow some of the best coffee in the world up there. Port Antonio is an interesting town to visit. The original town sunk under water in the 1700s and is still visible about 50 feet down and Blue Lagoon is a beautiful beach there. You can visit Ian Fleming's house, where he wrote a lot of the James Bond books. Rick's Bar near Negril has live reggae, cliff divers and great sunsets.

Been there once and I would never go back....Rich
Went horseback riding 'off the beaten track' once years ago. Great scenery, but watch out for taking pictures of houses with lots of tall green plants in front.

The Black River Safari Cruise is great, crocodiles (not alligators as some sites say), tropical birds and mangrove trees.
YS Falls is scenic, try zip lining through the trees, there's a 7 tiered waterfall, and plenty of picturesque sights on the drive there.
Try Bamboo River Rafting, just sit back and enjoy with plenty of photo ops.
Rick's Cafe as others have mentioned!
We stayed at Sunset at The Palms Resort in Negri, and it was full of flora and fauna as well as beach shots.
Have a great time!

Small correction Frank. A part of Port Royal sank in the earthquake of 1692. To the OP, have a good time.
