Yes, please if you don't mind I'd like to see a version of the goose and a little knowledge on the type of workflow you use. I think you can just drag and drop the image to your computer (not sure) but if not I will need to know another way of getting it to you, e-mail or something... Thank you!

It would be better if you sent me an original file. The posts are not quality enough to edit. We can work on setting that up. I gotta cruise out for a bit. But, if not tonight, then tomorrow. K?

I'm glad someone has identified that as a moth instead of a humming bird. As hard as I tried I couldn't find a hummer in that photo. I've shot a few hummers in my time.

OK . . . so it's 8:50am EST. I will be here for about another hour then its off I go for a couple hours of spiritual awakening. Returning about noon. Then I should have a couple hours. Let's figure out how to move the image between us, shall we?

Here, I duplicated the background layer two times in Photoshop and adjusted the levels on one and curves on another. Merged the layers and ran it through Topaz Adjust for some overall exposure adjustment. You can see that the grass is a little greener, but only because levels and curves corrected that. The contrast on the goose it definitely better. I am not a pro at this stuff but have learned some things over the years that help me so I want to pass on anything I can if people feel that it can help them.

I'm quite sure you have a Hummingbird Moth, Hemaris thysbe rather than a real live hummingbird.

Don't feel bad about the hummingbird / moth confusion, because I've always heard these moths referred to as hummingbird moths because of their behavior. They're also not much smaller than a hummingbird, and they hover over flowers just like a hummingbird getting nectar which is what they're doing. Besides, how many moths do you see doing this? We usually see moths hanging around our porch lights at night! It doesn't take away from your nice picture though!
