Pixelstan, THIS is a beautiful fine art nude !!! It is in its scope very sensual, it has the viewer wanting to be there. Color would not have enhanced this image. It is the consummate B/W.

Rich, Thanks for your kind comments. I always admired Edward Weston's style of parts of the female body. Had the opportunity to do a workshop with his son Cole. It was inspiring as he followed on in his fathers footsteps.

EW His was mine also and I emulated his style when I taught Fine Art Figure Photography at the University of Vermont. I also liked Ruth Bernhard and her Triangles image.

I also agree that this is a very successful photo - the fact that part of her is hidden from view, and she obviously has a beautiful figure, leaves us, the viewer wanting to lurk in the bushes a little longer so we can see all of her. I have just one small observation that nobody seems to have mentioned yet - and that is that the way she is standing looks like she would be leaning against the wall, almost like she is just a little unnaturally close to the wall. I'd sure like to see more of your work, even if it was shot on something you call film - isn't that the stuff that you actually have to have a darkroom, enlargers and bad smelling chemicals to make photos with. You must be really, really old. ; ) 😏😏😏😏

Great concept. It has a non-standard crop already, so I think it could be improved by cropping out a little of the left and the bottom. The brightness of the logs is a little strong to me.
