I am VERY New.. Suggestions
Hello. I am a very new photographer. Not at all good at proper technique of photography. I shoot, I edit to make it look like how I am hoping for it to look like..
My editing style is pretty different than most. People that use me as their photographer obviously love the way I edit, I make sure they are well aware of how their photos will probably turn out prior to making an appointment..
here is a a few photos that I have done..
Ideas? Suggestions? are very welcome..
thanks in advance

Trashing the Dress "Divorce Style"
My first Boudoir Shoot
Since you mentioned "your style", I guess we need you to tell us what that consists of. At first glance, I'd call several of these overexposed and softly focused but I have seen photos produced that way on purpose (cloudy, dreamy).
If you are seeking snap sharp focus and realistic lighting, thats a whole different animal. Let us know a bit about your vision.
Crazy about the shot in the water "Trash the dress"
Great stuff.
You are gonna be just fine.
You nailed it.. Actually I DO intentionally do the "dreamy" look.. In photoshop I use the "perfect portrait, and add the glow" to most of my pictures..
When I say I'm "new" I mean I do not technically know settings, Im still learning my camera.. It's a Canon 50D. I am still learning the very basics. about ISO, shutter speed, etc... It is so confusing for me right now..
No problem...that'll just help anyone who comments to know your particular mindset and comment accordingly.
I love the boy on the tracks. I could see that one hanging. When you color spaces in, enlarge your picture and use a smaller brush to get closer to the edges. Interesting stuff.
Thank you Mary.. I also like to mention I am VERY big on candid photos. My favorites are the ones in between a posed photo.. Ill post an example below.
She was tossing her dress in the river so I could get a shot of it floating, and it turned into one of my favorites of the shoot..
OK.. It was brought to my attention that the boudoir photography is not appreciated or allowed.. I apologize, I will not do that again. that was my badd... dont hate me, it was an honest mistake. Can I delete that particular photo.. p.s. thanks to the who inboxed me and gave me the heads up..
That is a boudoir photo? Or did you delete it already? I thought she went from her wedding dress to her party dress.
I really like your shots, very cool technique. Friend/ Baby mama is very creative. Can't wait to see more
I enjoyed all of these. I loved the little boy on the train tracks and the man with the babymama-they look so thrilled! Very touching!
If people like your work and buy it just keep doing what you doing and don,t be apologizing for what you can,t do with your customers. How would like to go a brain surgeon and he complain about how he wish he could use a scalpel better in cutting you open. Keep doing what you doing in the digital world you are on your way to success and God is blessing you.
LOL Love that. Good thought....
