Buckwheat, this shot IS spectacular.
This shot is what I call a complex environmental image.
The model would stand alone if she were in a studio with no landscape and the landscape would be strong without the Model! Put the two together and your really starting to creat an impact. That's complex advanced photography my friend! I don't often see enough contrast in a B&W either, mostly see lots of mud, but this is loaded with contrast!
The model is beatiful. I love the short, perky, dark hair!
Look at taking a bit off the right and bottom, it won't take away from the impact of the landscape but will make her appear just a little bigger, giving her a bit more impact.
The only thing you did wrong was not staying out there long enough! You should have shot her during AND after the storm!!! LoL
You worked for that shot....great job.

Great photo. I am agreement with SS on the crop, and maybe a slight amount from the top. I know it is Black and white, but color me jealous.👍👍
Excellent shot!!!!! You purposely broke the rule of thirds to capture more of the sky. A daring move that could draw the viewers away from your model. The sky and the model are of equal beauty. Together they compliment one another and there are no distractions that don't belong. Kicked ass on the framing. I have to say that I am not surprised. Iv'e been waiting for a shot like this from you. You didn't disappoint. LOL
I thank you for the kind words. I had no idea anyone was following me. Just for that, I'll keep shooting!

Well done! This is a very interesting work. Thank you for sharing!
Wonderful shot. And the starkness of the B & W adds tremendously.
