Too old to make the hike but the scenery looks wonderful.

Very beautiful Rick and know it must have been a great challenge and experience!
Thanks, Swampy. Not sure how many are left in these old and achy bones. Run until you can run no more; then walk until you can walk no more; then crawl until you can crawl no more; then slither as long as possible.

I know what you mean. The hikes get steeper every year and the camera gets heavier.

Outstanding image Rick. So glad you were able to get up to North Cascades NP.
Me too, Tom. Thanks for the kind words.

12 mile hike R/T with 4000 feet of elevation gain (not including another 1000 loss and re-gain). This image is from early in the hike.
Wow, gorgeous, looks like Alaska.
Beautiful image.....very nice capture !!
I don't think I could ever have done that hike. But it's beautiful country! Lovely image.
Excellent shot of the Triples-Mt Johannesberg ridge. I'm a Puget Sounder and the Cascade Pass area is one of my favorite regions in Washington's mountain ranges. I eagerly look forward to more pictures as you move higher on your hike. May I suggest more than one per post? Can't get enough.
Spectacular scene and worthy image of it. Enjoyed the view,GM.
