Will be taking an eastern seaboard and Canada cruise early October. I have "what to do" figured out for all ports except for the above mentioned. Looking for suggestions from anyone who lives in these places, or anyone who has visited. Photo opts or otherwise. Thx!

Our best friends are motoring around Nova Scotia in early October. I am going to provide them with the suggestions.

Lazy J......we will be taking the Anne of Green Gables & Island Drive tour on Sept 27. Not too exciting; I suspect the best photo op will be in Historic Charlottetown. Quebec City will offer a lot more opportunity from everything I have read. We are taking the Historic & Modern Quebec w/ Montmorency Falls tour. The waterfall is 90 feet higher than Niagara Falls. There is Place-Royale, a square on the site of the original settlement. Nortre-Dame-des-Victoires is the continent's oldest Catholic Church. There are many more opportunities but not enough time to see it all. Have a great trip. George.

Charlottetown is in Prince Edward Island, not Nova Scotia. It is actually the birthplace of the Canadian federation, although Prince Edward Island did not join until some years later.

The "Old City"portion of Quebec is a good place to start. Take the incline rail up to an area overlooking the city.

Quebec City is a great "walking around" kind of city. The old part is very nice. Lots of photo opportunities. If you are going to Nova Scotia and you have a car I recommend staying in Halifax and taking the drive southwest to the coast to Peggy's Cove and on down all the way to Lunenberg. Follow the narrow road along the coast. There may be other things beyond Lunenberg but we stopped there. There were many, many great photo opportunities along that drive. Leave early and allow a whole day. I'll try posting a few of my shots from that trip.

In Nova Scotia make sure you see the reverse tide and or enjoy the bumpy boat ride!

I recently posted about Quebec City, if you wish to look it up. Keep on cruisin'.
