I have a shot taken from the exact same spot that I have treasured for years, but it isin't a patch on your shot. Beautiful !!! Well done.
Out of sight, to the right of your shot, below the brow of the hill lies the Guinness family estate of Luggala. The dark, peat colored water of the lough and the white sandy beach are said to look like a pint of Guinness. The estate is now occasionally available for rent and has hosted celebrities such as Michael Jackson and Mel Gibson.

This is a beautiful image with great tonality range and beautiful colours. Some of the ferns are out of focus. Was there a breeze perhaps? I'm not complaining, just asking the cause.

repleo- this is a gorgeous spot. I have several images from the hills surrounding the lough, with a couple that include the estate. It is true that the lough and beach together look like a pint of Guinness! Hope to make it back there someday soon.

Apologies for taking so long to reply to your question. Yes, it was very windy up on the hillside, hence the blurry ferns in this 2 minute exposure.
