Even though, or maybe because we are driving through a desert landscape, the slowly changing vistas can be mesmerizing plus we cross small towns and visit spooky ruins of an abandoned city. As mentioned in the last post, most of these pictures were taken through the windows of a moving bus.

Thanks for looking - long-distance viewing has definitely some advantages, but you cannot get the smells - but then sometimes you do not want the smells ....

Thank you shangyrhee - I actually did not think that I had much to show in way of the landscape, but then when I delved into the pictures I realized that there were at least a few interesting and unusual spots!
