I have a Vello FreeWave Stryker. Haven't had much chance to check it out as a lightning trigger. As a motion detector it's not very good. B&H has several different brands. Don't buy a cheap model.

I have this one:

http://store.lightningtrigger.com/lightningtrigger-2-1-1-2.aspx

Not the cheapest, but it does work reliably.

There's a new do-it-all accessory called MIOPS, about $200 from Amazon, although it hasn't gotten past my Wishlist yet.

B&H also carries the MIOPS and has a larger selection of models. Of course I tend to be a little prejudiced. Amazon doesn't list a model compatible with the Sony A mount version.

I have used it for a few years, no problems. I've used it on my D7100,D4 and now I'm waiting to get some new shots with it mounted on my D5.
