Anybody have any experience using the 35 mm f1.8 on a Sony a 6300? I've been trying to find a store that has one to test it out, but they're all out of stock. Is it so good that they can't keep it in stock or is it that tkey can't they sell them so won't stock them? Just wondering what your experiences with that lens might be.

This is my best lens for the A6300 and Nex 7. I'm never without it

I have the Sony DT 35mm f1.8 lens (A-mount). I am not selling mine, it is a good lens. I use it mostly for fish at aquariums.

Since this is a DT lens (for crop sensor) you also need the EA3 adapter from Sony as it is for the crop sensor lenses (EA4 is for full frame lenses).

There is an E-mount 35mm lens from Sony and a FE 35mm Ziess lens.

A-mount lenses are becoming hard to get. Although Sony just released the A68 A-mount camera, so there more A-mount lenses produced.

A 35mm prime lens, cheap, expensive, is worth having on any interchangeable lens camera, mirrorless or not.

I have the E mount on my a6300. Good lense. Don't use it often as I keep an 18-200 on the camera, but in darker places, the f1.8 makes great pictures.

Cameta usually has them in stock. Good folk to do business with.
