Correct. I wonder how many users of XP have a car or TV from 2001. My 1999 CRV is, bu I suspect I'm not representative of the majority who still run XP. That is an ancient OS. Win 7, 8.1 or my favorite, Win 10, are better and much more versatile operating systems.

I agree, but unfortunately, lots of older machines running XP won't accommodate adequate memory to run 7 (not to mention the CPU...)
Since installing Windows 10 my previously reliable Firefox browser has become as useful as a brick - crashes continually.
I use Firefox with my Windows 10 and have had no problems with it, I even stream movies off this website with it every day and it does a great job, never a failure.

Actually, I did install Chrome. Seems a bit slow, but doesn't crash like Firefox. I will, however, take your advice and re-install Firefox--worth a try. Thanks.
Won't have a problem. I build my own mainframe and do the programing

Running latest version, 1607. Many of the earlier issues are slowly being worked out.
I let it (Micro$oft) install the Anniversary Update just a couple of days ago. After the reboot my WiFi wouldn't work. Multiple calls to both Lenovo and Micro$oft failed to fix the problem! Only solution was for me to revert the laptop back to where it was before the Anniversary Update.
On a side note, I went and ordered for myself another Micro$oft Lumia 640 with Windows Mobile 8.1. I Upgraded to Windows Mobile 10 on the previous Lumia 640 I had and didn't like it nearly as much as 8.1. There isn't a whole heck of a lot of difference between the two Mobile versions, but I like the speed and simplicity of 8.1 better. Micro$oft has already begun to cripple some apps functionality on 8.1, so I imagine that eventually I'll have to upgrade to version 10 whether I want to or not.
