I just discovered this site and am excited..I'm seeing that posters are so kind and helpful. I'm trying very hard to take nice pics with my new Sony Cybershot. I'll be visiting here often to learn and maybe even post a picture or two.

Hi Sparkleplenty: Welcome to the forum... This is a great learning place. The more time you spend here the more you will learn. Keep on posting pix and join in on the discussions. Yakima WA here.
As a relative newcomer (but advancing years!), I can confirm the amazing expertise--yet gentile manner--of the group! Welcome!

Welcome To UHH Sparky. Now let's see some beautiful images of your (our) beautiful lake. We lived in CdA for 3 years in the early 70's. Cried when we left.

When people ask me why I left I tell them the truth - I was frozen out. LMAO actually my father worked in the mines - what was then called a "tramp hard rock miner" as we moved from one mining town to another quite frequently- when the gold mines in CA closed in the late '40s we moved to the Coeur d'Alene's Silver,Lead & ink mining area of Wallace, Kellogg & Burk- when I got out of high school I headed back to the warmer climate in CA.

I never knew that there were lizards like that in Coeur d'Alene. I was there a few years ago and I never saw one. Where do they keep them there?
On the "Golf Island" of course. LMAO
