Fairy edits, advice on wings?

Hi, still working with these fairies, they have been a lot of fun but my husband said that the wings still doesn't look right. He said where it joins with her back looks very edited. If anyone has any suggestions that I could try I would greatly appreciate it. I also included the originals if anyone would like to try something with them. Thanks everyone so much!!

i think they look good. May i ask where you found them and what type of background are you using for these?

Thanks, and these were taken in a field by my house, no background, the only thing I did was change the saturations and hues to get the dramatic effect

Not sure the wings are appropriate. I have daughters - thinking devil's horns might be more appropriate!
